KATY: REQUIEM

At her peak, with a fresh 4 ltr engine and using only stock Jaguar XJS parts, Katy put out an estimated 290 flywheel horsepower on the rollers. She was the lightest, stiffest, most powerful class A car we had ever produced.

Sadly we'll never get to find out what she was capable of, because she was turned into scrap at Brands hatch in 2016.

Fighting from the class lead with a modified class machine is the way you'd expect one of our creations to die, but it was all a little unnecessary. Judged beyond economic repair by her current custodians, you might suggest that in the end it was one impact too many.

The wreckage was sold on, and parts may yet fly again, but the  Katy adventure is at an end. With it marks the end of our involvement with "customer" cars for other series.

Rust in pieces.
