Snetterton 1 - Anglesey 1 2009

After the problems at Snetterton I was determined to find a problem as I didn't want to go all the way to Anglesey and spend all that money and end up with another Snetterton.

I started with the fuel system and tested the pump and the rate of fuel returning from engine. I didn't think it to be a fuel problem but had to eliminate it first, I even swapped the pump in case.

Next the alternator, I took it off and had it tested, no problem with it and on refitting it I accidently pulled on the main lead and found that it had either broken or melted itself off the bulkhead, and had been touching and shorting out on the engine. I swapped the lead and tested the charging system. It worked and I was convinced that the problem had been found and corrected.

With the promise this car showed at Snett, and it now apparently working properly I am really looking forward to trying her out for real.
