He hasn’t checked this email account in 3 years, so don’t expect a response. You’re far better off phoning him. It will take a little time to get through, because the phone will be in a cover, in his pocket, and he’s probably wearing latex gloves, and overalls, and it’s one of those stupid new-fangled smartphones that you can’t operate with gloves on. Point is, you might have to call him twice.

One thing that does puzzle me are people who stick to just one method of communication. How many times do you have someone tell you that they’ve been emailing or phoning you and not had an answer? This is not the old West, we are not dependent upon telegraph wires here, you can phone, phone and leave a message, text, or email, you can tweet, you can facebook, and you can do any combination of them. If one of them doesn’t work, and you give up, then that’s your problem, we have no time for anyone too lazy or too stupid to give something else a try.
